Friends who've become a part of me...how can you fail with friends like these?
Renee H - believed in me from the very beginning and still does today. She taught me to recognize good huckleberry picking spots, how to pick, clean, and store them. How to be cautious of bears.
When we took our daughter and granddaughter "hungle berry picking" this summer, I repeated Renee's lessons for them. Except for the part about the bears, because with Kelly singing out loud to his IPOD, I figured the bears would leave us alone.
Regina M - my dear aunt. She cares about what I am working on and believes I'll make a difference in the world, in the lives of children.
