In the Shadow of Ghost Ranch - 2009

When in New Mexico, my homage to Georgia O'Keefe is to find a new lens through which I might examine the world. The purpose of my most recent trip was to attend the System Dynamics Society Conference, where I met an incredibly vibrant group of people who are addressing the real problems of the world through systems modeling and analysis. Environmental science, education, group and interpersonal relations, business, economics--all diverse disciplines drawn together by one common truth: we are elements of multiple subsystems within a greater system, and changes to any part will reverberate throughout.
