What's with the short span and concrete walls of the bridge? I guess at least they aren't driving through the river. I've been married to a stream restoration guru for much too long (20 years) I'm doing a bit better every day. Let's get together soon. I want to join your writing group... you think I could hack it?
Pretty major bridge for such a short span, huh. The irrigation company requires it. Has to be sturdy enough for fire engines and full concrete trucks.
I wish I had more stream guru around. I work with an environmental stewardship team at work, as well as a biomass team. So I think of you guys often as I'm trying to hold my own there.
The writing group? Of course you could do it. There are others long distance. It would be a really good excuse to get you up here though.
I'm glad things are improving. There's bound to be things that come up as you face new things for the first time since it happened.
Are you guys around next weekend? I'd like to drive down when you have some time.
